To showcase Cubitts’ new range of sculpturally-inspired frames, our Sunglasses as Sculpture campaign centred on three plinths that represented different stages in the manufacturing process.

It was a hot day and I was a dune-buggy ride from the beach. It was a hot day and the sun poured so brightly even the shade was violet. It was a hot day and I’d hooked up. Padding barefoot through their shack, the floorboards as cool as a kiss, I came to a room all soft, golden wood, empty apart from three small plinths. Each held a pair of sunglasses.
